![]() I love Zumba because anybody and everybody is able to participate in a Zumba class, whether you're 8 or 80. It is amazing what Zumba can do for your body when done with just a little awareness. Try to keep your belly pulled in like you're going to pull up the zipper on a snug pair of pants. Right there you are getting an ab workout. Now add the bumping and circling of the hips we do, and you've just worked your core; front, sides and back. Keep your shoulders pulled back, your head up and your back straight while you dance, and you strengthen the spinal muscles as well as the muscles of your upper back. Pulled in abs, stronger spinal and upper back muscles equal better posture! All while having fun in a calorie-burning dance fitness-party™! Gotta love it.
